Cree Rider Family Band
Cree Rider Family Band
St. Louis based Cree Rider Family Band is an Americana band rooted in a country music sound, with elements of folk and rock n’ roll. Cree Rider and his wife Cheryl Rider handle much of the songwriting and vocal duties, along with Andy Coco on bass guitar and backup vocals, Jordan Heimburger on lead guitar, and Russell McCanless on drums. Vocals and harmony are a focus, but the full band expertly compliments each song. Known for their energetic and engaging live shows, the Cree Rider Family Band has been called a “subversive country band” that “wears its heart on its sleeve”. Fans of classic and outlaw country, alt-county, and southern rock will find new ground and familiar themes in this music. You’ll dance, cry, laugh, and sing
along.

Cree Rider Family Band will be celebrating the release of their 3rd full length album, “A Toast to Absent Friends: The Songs of Misisipi Mike Wolf”.

“Our philosophy now is to toast our friends and heroes while they are still alive, so we decided to record an
album of songs by our dear friend, favorite songwriter, and country hero, Misisipi Mike Wolf. ...He is another great American country songwriter in the tradition of Merle Haggard and John Prine.” -Cree Rider
